WHY CARL ZEISS?
Carl Zeiss branded ZEISS, one of the world's leading technology companies operating in optics and optoelectronics.
ZEISS lenses are made using digital computing technology, instead of the usual lathe-cut lens. This means your ZEISS lenses have a higher level of precision and definition, giving you much greater clarity and performance and full UV protection. Enough said.
WHAT IS HUGSEAL?
Basically it combines our timbers and plant cellulose together - where the two elements meet, they hug each other, hence the name HugSeal.
WHAT IS PLANT BASED CELLULOSE?
Cellulose acetate is a natural plastic, which is manufactured from purified natural cellulose. It is primarily derived from two sources; wood pulp and cotton linters. (Our frames use a combination of both)
